My Current work

Taren Frazier is a multifaceted artist—actor, director, photographer, and educator—working in the Cincinnati Tri-State area. A proud graduate of both Cincinnati’s School for Creative and Performing Arts (SCPA) and the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music (CCM), Taren earned his BFA in Dramatic Performance in 2000.

Since then, he has built a vibrant career on and off the stage, performing, directing, and choreographing stage combat for numerous Cincinnati theaters. Taren is also a founding member of several groundbreaking local companies, including Bard Ally Theatre, The Janus Project, and the Performance Gallery—a collaborative ensemble founded with artists Brian Robertson, Regina Pugh, Brian Griffin, Stephanie Cotton-Snell, Jodie Linver, Nathan Singer, and Aretta Baumgartner.

In addition to his performance work, Taren has contributed deeply to arts education. He has taught drama at SCPA for both 4th and 8th grade students and served in full-time teaching roles throughout the Cincinnati Public School system.

As a photographer, Taren has been capturing the essence of performers since 2004. His lens has taken him across the U.S.—from Myrtle Beach to Tampa Bay, Tucson to Norfolk—photographing talent for the John Robert Powers modeling school. Today, he continues to shoot professional actors, models, and dancers for multiple agencies in the Cincinnati area, earning a reputation as a trusted creative partner for emerging and established performers alike.
